Inc. (TSX:HBM) ("HudBay") confirmed today it will hold its Annual
General and Special Meeting of shareholders ("AGM") on Thursday, June 1,
2006 starting at 10 a.m. EDT, in the gallery of the Toronto Stock
Exchange Broadcast Conference Centre, 130 King Street West, Toronto,
Ontario.
Allen J. Palmiere, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Peter R. Jones, President and Chief Executive, will host the AGM.
The
AGM proceedings will be webcast live and archived on HudBay's web site
at www.hudbayminerals.com, together with accompanying slides.
Instructions for accessing the live AGM webcast and the archived AGM
will be provided on the web site.
In addition, HudBay will also
hold, separate from its AGM, an Extraordinary Meeting of Warrantholders
on Thursday, June 1 in the gallery of the Toronto Stock Exchange
Broadcast Conference Centre, 130 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario. The
meeting will begin at 12 noon, EDT.
