Alan Hair , , , President and Chief Executive Officer

Alan Hair was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and Director in January 2016. An accomplished leader of people and performance, Alan brings to his role 20 years knowledge of Hudbay and more than three decades of experience in the mining sector. As CEO, Alan’s role is to work with Hudbay’s Board of Directors and senior management to establish and execute the company’s vision and strategy. Previously, Alan served as Hudbay’s Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2015 and was responsible for all aspects of Hudbay’s operations and delivering against the Company’s production and growth commitments. He holds a degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of Leeds, England.

David S. Bryson , , , Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, David plays a leading role in securing funding for Hudbay’s growth and in managing Hudbay’s financial reporting and disclosure practices. He also oversees the Company’s information technology, marketing and communications functions. David brings more than 20 years of financial experience to Hudbay, including progressively senior leadership roles in the mining and energy infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Hudbay in 2008, he was Vice-President and then CFO with Skye Resources Inc. and, previously, was Treasurer of Terasen Inc. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Cashel Meagher , , , Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Cashel Meagher was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2016, leading Hudbay’s international operating teams and responsible for business development, technical services, exploration and corporate social responsibility. Cashel was previously Vice President, South America Business Unit from 2011 to 2015, where he led the successful construction and ramp-up of the Constancia mine. Cashel has an extensive background in precious metal and base metal exploration, resource and reserve estimation, engineering studies, and open pit and underground operations. Prior to joining the company in 2008, he held several management positions with Vale Inco. Cashel holds a Joint Advanced Major in Geology and Chemistry from Saint Francis Xavier University and is a Professional Geoscientist registered with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.

Eugene Lei , , , Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy

Eugene was appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy in January 2017, responsible for corporate strategy and optimizing Hudbay's portfolio of assets through acquisitions, divestitures, investments, joint ventures and strategic partnerships. Joining Hudbay in 2012 and leading the company's corporate development activities since 2014, Eugene has progressed through several senior management roles and executive responsibilities. In 2014, Eugene led Hudbay’s successful acquisition of Augusta Resource Corporation. Eugene has over 15 years of global mining investment banking and corporate development experience. Prior to joining Hudbay, Eugene was Managing Director, Mining at Macquarie Capital Markets, working as an advisor on global and domestic merger & acquisitions and equity capital markets financings. Eugene holds a Bachelors of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University. In 2015, Eugene received the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum’s CIM-Bedford Canadian Young Mining Leaders Award.

David Clarry , , , Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility

For a mining company, the measure of success is performance as well as production. As Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility, David’s mandate is to develop, implement and monitor, and account for corporate standards for health, safety, the environment and community relations. Prior to joining Hudbay in 2011, David was principal at his own firm, Innotain Inc., providing sustainability and responsibility consulting services to the mining and energy industries. He also spent 18 years in a series of roles with the international engineering and consulting firm Hatch Ltd., serving lastly as Director, Climate Change Initiatives. David holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Engineering from Queen’s University, an MBA from INSEAD, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.

Patrick Donnelly , , , Vice President and General Counsel

As Vice President and General Counsel, Patrick provides leadership, oversight and direction on all legal matters involving Hudbay and its operations. He also serves as Hudbay’s Corporate Secretary, with responsibilities relating to the Board of Directors and its committees, including the identification and implementation of corporate governance best practices. Patrick joined Hudbay in 2008 and was appointed to his current role in 2011. Prior to joining Hudbay, he practised corporate and securities law at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. Patrick holds a law degree from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario.

Jon Douglas , , , Vice President and Treasurer

As Vice President and Treasurer, Jon oversees Hudbay’s corporate treasury, financial planning, tax and metal marketing functions. Jon brings 25 years of broad experience in the mining industry with Northgate Minerals, Noranda and Barrick Gold. Jon was CFO at Northgate for over 10 years, and was most recently CFO of Barrick’s global copper business unit. He holds a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University.

Elizabeth Gitajn , , , Vice President, Risk Management

Elizabeth joined Hudbay in March 2015 prior to which she was the Corporate Controller for IAMGOLD Corporation since June 2012. From October 2007 to June 2012, she held various management positions within Barrick Gold Corporation in the finance areas of risk management, financial reporting and planning. Elizabeth spent 14 years in public accounting in the United States, nine of which was with Arthur Andersen LLP and the last five years before moving to Canada with a large local firm where she held the position of Audit Partner overseeing both internal and external audits.

Andre Lauzon , , , Vice President, Arizona Business Unit

Andre Lauzon was appointed Vice President, Arizona Business Unit in April 2018. In this role, Andre is responsible for Hudbay’s strategic initiatives in the region and development of the Rosemont copper project, acquired by Hudbay in the summer of 2014. Andre helps manage human and capital resources and ensures corporate standards are met in environmental management, health and safety performance, and community relations and for identifying growth opportunities for Hudbay in the western United States. Andre previously held the role of Vice President, Manitoba Business Unit, where Andre provided strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of Hudbay's activities in Manitoba. Andre has over 24 years of domestic and international experience in technical, operations, and executive management, including the management of large scale mining and processing metals business units. Andre holds an Honours Bachelor degree in Geology and a Master of Science specialization in Geostatistics both from Laurentian University.

Robert Assabgui , , , Vice President, Manitoba Business Unit

Robert Assabgui was appointed Vice President, Manitoba Business unit in April 2018. As leader of the Manitoba Business Unit, Rob provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of Hudbay's activities in Manitoba. He is responsible for ensuring a high-performance, safety-focused culture that is capable of creating growth and adapting to change. Rob previously held the role of Vice President, Technical Services with Hudbay and during that time worked closely with the Manitoba operations. Rob is an accomplished Senior Operations Manager with 29 years of progressive experience in operations, project management and engineering in the mining industry. Prior to joining the company in 2017, Rob was the Director, Mining at Vale's Sudbury Operations. Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mining from McGill University and is a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Ontario.

Javier Del Rio , , , Vice President, South America Business Unit

As Vice President of the South America Business Unit, Javier is responsible for strategic and operational performance in the region. He is also responsible for executive oversight of human and capital resources for the business unit and ensuring corporate standards are met in environmental management, health and safety performance, and community relations. Javier joined Hudbay in 2010 and was most recently Executive Director, Business Development – South America, with increasing responsibilities. Javier has over 25 years of mining experience and prior to joining Hudbay, Javier held management positions in business planning, optimization process, and business analysis with Newmont Mining Corporation in USA and Peru. Javier holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI), and has a MBA with specialization on Finance from Daniels College of Business of Denver University.

Olivier Tavchandjian , , , Vice President, Exploration and Geology

Olivier joined Hudbay in September 2017 and leads the execution of Hudbay's exploration strategy to create value through increasing the mineral reserves and mineral resources of the company. Olivier brings 25 years of experience in mineral resource and mineral reserve estimation and reporting, exploration, strategic and life of mine planning, technical support to operations and corporate development. His expertise covers a wide range of commodities including base and precious metals both for underground and surface mines in a diversified range of geographical locations. He was also closely involved in the successful development of multi-billion dollar greenfield projects and large mining expansions. Prior to joining Hudbay, Olivier was VP Resource Evaluation for Anemka Resources, the mining portfolio company of a large private investment firm. Olivier holds a Ph.D in Mineral Resources from the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi and is a Professional Geoscientist registered with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario.

Adrienne Blazo , , , Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness

Adrienne supports Hudbay's growth strategy by designing and implementing systems to maximize organizational effectiveness and leading transformational change projects which consider both people and technological aspects of the business. Adrienne joined Hudbay in September 2017 and brings a wide-ranging track record of operating and corporate experience in the extractive industry. Prior to joining Hudbay, Adrienne was Vice President Operations at Canadian Oil Sands, developing direction for the Syncrude joint venture's operations and growth strategies, with a focus on major projects, value enhancement and excellence in environmental performance. She previously held successively senior roles during a career of more than 20 years with Suncor Energy, where she began in operations as a blasting engineer, operations engineer and pit supervisor. In the 2000s, Adrienne lead the Production Planning and Logistics organization and built the Integrated Sustaining Projects organization which oversaw half a billion dollars per year in project construction. Adrienne also lead the Mining organizational redesign, affecting over 2,000 employees, which laid out the structure and strategy to seamlessly incorporate three new large scale mines over a 10 year period. Adrienne received her degree in Mining Engineering from Queen's University, with further studies at the Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) and the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto). Adrienne is also an accredited member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
